100 Women of Limerick - Sharon Slater

Women account for more than half the population, yet they have been underappreciated throughout history. This publication aims to introduce 100 women of Limerick to encourage further and deeper research on their outstanding achievements and social impacts.

The criterion for this publication is that each of the 100 women was either born or lived for several years in Limerick city or county. Unfortunately, it means that notable women who are associated with Limerick, but do not fit into this criterion, will not feature.
