Cros Naomh Bhride - St. Bridgids Cross

The Bridgid's Cross is still made in Ireland today, and placed in cottages, and out-offices on her St.Bridgids Day, February 1st, the day on which she died about 524 A.D. It is believed this emblem protects the home, and animals, from evil and want.
